From 10 April to 3 May 2015, ION2 was transformed into a Spring oasis with the ION Orchard Fashion Garden. Its piece de resistance was the first-ever butterfly house, a captivating enclosed domed installation. It was an enchanting experience for all who enter the magical winged world of live butterflies in vibrant colours and patterns. Different species of butterflies were flown in from different region and house in a self-contained habitat that include over 30 live flower and plant species. Visitors can catch the butterflies feeding in flight, or at rest amidst the plants, animal topriaries, and water feature in the dome daily between 11.00am-9.00pm.

Moving forward with an overhaul, we decided to pay tribute to the mall’s positioning as an oriental landmark by marrying both modernity and Chinese culture in this series of print ads, memorably construing it’s revamp in image and tenant mix as an all-rounded evolution.

The allure of Spring is unmistakable. It is a season that springs forth new beginnings. Flowers are in full bloom, setting the perfect stage for the launch of a new fashion season at ION Orchard. Embodying the essence of Spring, our model looks as one with the lush greenery, like a vision of a ravishing Spring blossom as butterflies gravitate to her irresistible charm. Spring is also the perfect springboard to launch ION Orchard’s new, statement-making “I Am” brand campaign.
IONgraphy 2013
IONgraphy – an online collection of beautiful and inspiring images taken by shoppers in ION Orchard. Shoppers uploaded their photos onto IONgraphy via Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #IONgraphy or through ION Orchard Facebook page (www.facebook.com/IONOrchard).
Every month, one photo was selected as the winning entry and the photographer won $200 worth of ION Orchard vouchers.
As a lasting memory, all winning photos were displayed at the ION Art Gallery in February 2014.

Deriving inspiration from the horse being the 7th animal in the Chinese zodiacal cycle and a theologically ancient saying of “ the handsome white horse and its prince”, ION decided for the first time to have a suave, handsome male model represent the mall. A breakthrough from a sea of mostly-female editorial conventions, the ION model for the lunar new year of the horse stands chivalrous in appearance alongside the gallant creature. Together, the duo are a dapper sight to behold.

To create the awareness of saving mother earth and encouraging more people to be environmentally conscious, a month-long multi-platform and multi-faceted campaign encompassing a music video, print ads, radio, outdoor posters and activation is planned every June to coincide with World Environment Day.
A series of print ads urging everyone to make a change by lending a helping hand to help restore our land. Using hand prints painting of nature by little boys and girls to remind us that there are many things our hands can do to preserve mother nature.
The ‘Save my World’ music video featuring the cast from ‘Ah Boyz to Men’ resonated well with people of all ages. Up to date its has garnered more than half a million views on social media platform.
